OVERVIEW

Mission, personality & brand architecture

01.1

OUR MISSION

The space industry runs one order of magnitude high on cost and one order of magnitude low on ambition. Starpath Robotics exists to fix both.

Starlight slashed 90% off the cost of space-rated solar. That breaks the boutique economics that have constrained humanity's reach beyond Earth since 1958. Mass-produced, space-rated, engineered in California — unbounded space power, made inevitable.

Starpath builds power infrastructure for off-world colonies. Every watt Starlight generates in orbit hammers one more rung into the ladder between humanity and the stars.

01.1.1

BRAND ARCHITECTURE

Starlight is the product brand of Starpath Robotics, with three sub-brands addressing different mission profiles.

BRAND PERSONALITY

Four pillars define how Starlight communicates across every touchpoint.

TECHNICAL
Precise, informed, grounded in real science.
We speak with authority because we've done the work. Every claim is backed by engineering data. No hand-waving, no hype cycles.
ASPIRATIONAL
Forward-looking, ambitious, reaching for the stars.
We're building technology that powers humanity's future in space. The language should inspire without losing its footing in reality.
MINIMAL
Stay concise, let the work speak.
Strip away the unnecessary. Every word, every design element earns its place. If it doesn't serve the message, it doesn't belong.
PREMIUM
Confident, Elevated, Nerdy.
Starlight is a category-defining product. The brand carries that weight through craft and restraint.
02.1

The Starlight Mark

Rotated 45°, bands separated into two groups. A shooting star leaving a trail. The angle aligns with the slant of the 'A' in the Starpath typeface, creating typographic harmony.

It represents Starpath across every surface — from datasheets to launch vehicles. Treat it with the precision it was drawn with.

Starlight icon mark
02.2

LOGO SUITE

The Starlight logo system consists of the primary lockup, the icon mark, and the wordmark. Each serves a different context within the brand.

Primary lockup

The full lockup pairs the icon mark with the Starlight wordmark. Use this for all external-facing brand moments — marketing, events, partnerships. This is the default.

Starlight primary lockup

Icon mark

The icon stands alone where space is tight or the full logo has already been established — favicons, app icons, merchandise, hardware engravings. Minimum size: 16px digital, 10mm print.

Starlight icon mark

On light backgrounds

Both the lockup and icon mark invert to black on light surfaces. No other colour treatments are permitted.

02.3

SUB-BRANDS

Three sub-brands extend the Starlight identity. Each shares the icon mark but shifts typeface weight to signal its product character. The icon stays constant — the typography does the differentiating.

Starlight Classic

The original. Classic launched the product line and carries the same typeface weight as the master wordmark — equal footing with the parent brand. The most cost-effective space solar panel, and the foundation everything else grew from.

Starlight Classic

Starlight Air

The lightest typeface weight in the family. The thin strokes mirror what Air is: ultralight, flexible, stripped to the minimum. At ~3,000 W/kg, the product sheds every gram it can — the letterforms do the same. Some applications pair just the "Air" descriptor with the icon mark.

Starlight Air

Starlight Ultra

The heaviest weight. Ultra is the workhorse — maximum power output, built for demanding mission profiles. The bold letterforms carry that density. Where Air whispers, Ultra anchors.

Starlight Ultra
